It's been over one year since 42-year-old Shawn Roy Miness went missing and RCMP are still looking for anyone that may have information on his disappearance.

Shawn Miness was last seen on April 21, 2022, at his residence on Tupper Street, in Portage la Prairie.


He's described as being 6'0" in height, weighs approximately 190 lbs with very short dark hair and brown eyes.

Portage la Prairie RCMP continue to investigate the disappearance of Shawn Roy Miness who was last seen at his residence on Tupper Street, in Portage la Prairie, on April 21, 2022.

"Shawn is missed by many, he is a father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and more," said his sister Ashley Reid. "His children miss him terribly, as well as his sisters, nieces and nephews. He was always there to lend a helping hand. We have a large hole in the family that we are hoping to get answers for."

On April 23, 2022, at 4:55 pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a missing 42-year-old male from Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

Shawn Roy Miness was last seen on April 21 at a residence located on Tupper Street in Portage la Prairie.

He's described as being 6'0" in height, weighs approximately 190 lbs with very short dark colored hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown at this time.

The RCMP and his family are concerned for his safety.
