Ponoka RCMP seek assistance in locating male wanted for aggravated assault
Ponoka, Alta. – On July 19, 2022, at 5:34 p.m., Ponoka RCMP responded to a report of a shooting that occurred in the 5500 Block of 50 St. in Ponoka. As a result of this investigation, a 22-year-old individual, of Ponoka, is charged with aggravated assault and firearms related offences.
Ponoka RCMP's efforts to locate the 22-year-old individual have been unsuccessful, and they have obtained a warrant for his arrest for the above noted charges.
The 22-year-old individual is described as follows:
· 5 feet 9 inches tall
· Slim build
· Light complexion
· Brown hair
· Green eyes
· Cursive tattoo on his right hand and a diamond tattoo on his right forearm
The 22-year-old individual is believed to be armed and dangerous—do not approach and call 911.
