Peace Regional RCMP seek public assistance in arson investigation

On May 15, 2022, shortly before 6 a.m., Peace Regional RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire in Little Buffalo along with the Fire Department.

Upon arrival, Peace Regional RCMP observed a log home and an adjacent trailer fully engulfed. There were no occupants in either structure, and no injuries were reported.

The investigation revealed that the fire was started by an accelerant.

Nearby surveillance footage shows a dark coloured Chevrolet Silverado extended cab approach the structures minutes before the fire started and is then observed fleeing the scene.

Peace Regional RCMP are looking to speak to the occupants of the Chevrolet Silverado.
