Manitoba RCMP arrest male after child pornography investigation

The Manitoba RCMP Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) received several complaints from the RCMP National Child Exploitation Crime Centre regarding the possession of child pornography in southern Manitoba. As a result of the complaint on April 27, 2022, the ICE unit, the RCMP Digital Forensics Services Unit along with the assistance of Morris RCMP and East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Willow Drive, in Morris.

During the search officers located evidence to support additional drug and firearms related offences.

Officers seized firearms, ammunition, weapons, cash, approximately 60 grams of methamphetamine and other drugs.

Andrew Gray, 35, of Morris, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with;

Possession of Child Pornography
Accessing Child Pornography
Making Child Pornography Available
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Devices
Unauthorized Possession of Prohibited Weapons
Possession of a Firearm without a Licence Knowingly
Possession of a Restricted Firearm with ammo without a Licence
Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling

He was remanded into custody.
