Lunenburg District RCMP investigating serious crash

Lunenburg District RCMP is investigating a serious crash that occurred on Hwy. 329 in Fox Point.

On November 22, 2022, at approximately 9:40 a.m., Lunenburg District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Hwy. 329 in Fox Point. RCMP officers learned that a cement truck had been travelling on Hwy. 329 when it rolled onto its side while negotiating a curve.

The driver and sole occupant, a 55-year-old Otter Brook man, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by Lifeflight.

Hwy. 329 was closed for several hours while debris was cleared, but has since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
