On October 24, 2022 at approximately 3:55 p.m., Humboldt RCMP received a report of a collision on Grid Road 777 near Pilger, SK.
Initial investigation determined an eastbound pickup truck and a westbound pickup truck collided. The driver of one of the pickup trucks, a 73-year-old male from Pilger was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. His family has been notified and Victim Services have been offered to them. The driver and the passenger of the other truck were transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Humboldt RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
