Harbour Grace RCMP searches for vehicle and suspects involved in break and enter into Quality Vapor in Carbonear

Harbour Grace RCMP is investigating a break and enter that occurred early this morning at the Quality Vapor store in Carbonear.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., suspects broke into the business, which set off a notification to the owner, who attended the scene. A dark colored 4-door hatch back car with multiple occupants was seen fleeing the scene. The car sustained damage to the passenger side and passenger side headlight.

Two involved youth were located at approximately 6:00 a.m. today in Carbonear and fled from police on foot. Officers gave chase and arrested one of the youths while the other was able to escape. RCMP Police Dog Services attended the area and conducted a search. Efforts to locate the second youth, who has been identified, are continuing.

The arrested youth, who is currently before the court on numerous charges laid by the RNC in St John's, attends court later today.

The investigation is continuing.
