Harbour Grace RCMP arrested 25-year-old Aaron Green following an attempted robbery at the Shell gas station in Carbonear that occurred on Saturday evening.
Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on November 5, 2022, police received the report of an attempted robbery and attended the scene. Green allegedly entered the business, spoke to the cashier and advised that he was going to rob the store. The cashier in turn informed him that a panic alarm was present and would be activated. Green fled the store on foot, empty-handed.
He was located at a residence a short distance away and was arrested without incident. Green is charged with one count of robbery. He attended court over the weekend, was held in custody and appears in court again today.
