Dauphin RCMP traffic stop leads to seizure of drugs and cash

On August 4, 2022, as a result of an ongoing investigation, the Manitoba West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) unit conducted a traffic stop on a Kerr Avenue in Dauphin.

When contact was made with the vehicle, officers arrested a 41-year-old male passenger for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

A search of a backpack belonging to the 41-year-old resulted in the seizure of 61 grams of methamphetamine, 7 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of purple down, cash and gift cards.

41-year-old Sean Stacey Bouchie was later released for court scheduled November 15, 2022, in Dauphin. He has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.
