Dauphin RCMP looking for suspects in Assault with Weapon

On October 3, 2022, at 6:05 pm, Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of a 25-year-old male arriving at the Dauphin Hospital suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound.

Officers were advised that at approximately 5:45 pm, three teenagers were observed walking on Oak Street when one of the teenage males began hitting a vehicle with a sword. The owner of the vehicle confronted the suspect resulting in a physical altercation where he was struck with the sword. The victim was able to gain possession of the sword before the suspects fled the area.

The victim was later treated and released from hospital.

RCMP are looking to identify these three suspects as described below:

  • A Caucasian teenage male, 17-19 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build with dirty blonde shoulder length hair
  • An Indigenous teenage male approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build with dirty blonde shoulder length hair
  • An Indigenous teenage female wearing a red top, light color hair with green streaks
