Bonavista RCMP investigates theft of food from parked transport truck, seeks public’s assistance

Bonavista RCMP is investigating an overnight theft of a significant quantity of food, stolen from the back of a transport truck while it was parked at Hotel Bonavista. The theft occurred sometime between 11:00 p.m. on October 31 and 7:00 a.m. on November 1, 2022.

Suspect(s) gained access to the trailer of the transport truck. Approximately $4000.00 worth of food, including a 10-pound bucket of Barbour's Peanut Butter, multiple 10-kilogram boxes of McCormick baking gums, 5 boxes of margarine blocks, multiple 12-kilogram boxes of date puree, and multiple cases (6 packs) of carnation milk, was stolen.
