On June 20, 2022, at approximately 4:00 a.m. Sylvan Lake RCMP received a report of a shooting on Range Road 34 West of Eckville. Upon arrival, officers located a 46-year-old male victim with serious life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to hospital; however, died from his injuries.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.
RCMP are asking the public for their assistance in this tragic event.
