On July 30, 2021, at approximately 11:42 pm, Whitehorse RCMP responded to a report of a 27 year old female in medical distress in the downtown area. The female was later pronounced deceased.
Whitehorse RCMP, the M Division Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Services and the Yukon Coroner's Service continue to investigate. There are no public safety concerns at this time.
