Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrest man for drug trafficking in Whitehorse

On July 29, 2021, Yukon RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrested arrest a 25-year old man, Nathali George of Burnaby, BC for Trafficking Cocaine. The arrest took place in a local hotel parking lot.

A search of his vehicle resulted in seizure of the following items:

  • two small packages of believed cocaine packaged for sale on the street
  • Canadian currency: $200.00
  • two cell phones
  • the vehicle as offence related property

A search of his hotel room resulted in the seizure of the following items:

  • several packages of various sizes containing believed crack and powder cocaine in both bulk and resale quantities
  • Canadian currency: More than $10,000.00
  • two cell phones
  • a digital scale
  • assorted packaging materials

George is charged with the following:

  • Trafficking Schedule 1 (Cocaine)
  • Possess Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000.00
