West Prince RCMP stop vehicle travelling 160 km/hour - issue tickets, tow vehicle

On Thursday, March 11th, at approximately 8:50 PM West Prince RCMP were on patrol in Alberton when they observed a vehicle speeding through main street. The vehicle initially failed to stop for police but eventually did just outside of Alberton. At one point, the vehicle reached speeds up to 160 km/hour.

An 18 year-old male driver was issued two tickets under the Highway Traffic Act for speeding and failing to stop when signalled by police. The vehicle was towed and impounded for 24 hours.
