West Hants District RCMP charge man for sexual offences

West Hants District RCMP has charged a man in relation to a sexual assault investigation in Windsor.

On April 29, 2021, West Hants District RCMP received a report that a man had sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl after he had given her a drive from Windsor to Hantsport that day. During the drive, the man had asked the victim to touch him in a sexual manner, and the man had also touched the victim sexually. Police arrested the 34-year-old man later that day without incident.

Frederick Davis of Windsor has been charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching. Davis has since been released from custody and will appear in Windsor Provincial Court on June 28, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.

The investigation is continuing.
