A man and a woman are charged with numerous offences following investigations into two armed robberies and an attempted robbery in southeastern New Brunswick.
On February 11, 2021, Shediac RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at a pharmacy in Cap-Pelé, where medication and medical supplies were stolen. On February 13, Sackville RCMP responded to a report of an attempted robbery in Memramcook. Shortly after, Codiac RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a gas station in Dieppe.
Around 4:30 p.m., on the same day, police located a vehicle of interest in Sackville. Two people were arrested after their vehicle collided with a pole after failing to stop for police. A woman in the vehicle was transported to hospital following the crash.
Following court appearances on February 14 and 17, 43-year-old Graham Hutchinson of Hillsborough is charged with three counts of robbery, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, dangerous operation of a conveyance, flight from peace officer, resisting arrest and driving while suspended. He was remanded into custody pending a court appearance on March 9 at 11 a.m.
Following court appearances on February 14 and 17, 32-year-old Sylvie Josée Tremblay, of Lakeburn is charged with three counts of robbery and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. She was remanded into custody pending a court appearance on February 18.
The investigation is ongoing.
