Two men face charges of dangerous driving in Burgeo

Two men, ages 38 and 39, are facing charges of dangerous driving following an investigation by RCMP in Burgeo on July 25, 2021.

Police received a number of reports of a car driving recklessly in the community. Officers responded and learned that the vehicle nearly struck a number of pedestrians.

The two men, who were both identified as driving the car at different times, now face charges under the Criminal Code for dangerous driving and were ticketed under the Highway Traffic Act for stunting and driving without consideration for others. In addition, their driver's licences were suspended.

The two are set to attend court on September 27, 2021.
