Strathcona County RCMP charge two males with drug trafficking

In March of 2021, the Strathcona County RCMP's Municipal Drug Unit launched a drug trafficking investigation. On May 28, 2021, investigators executed search warrants on three Edmonton dwellings and seized what is believed to be:

  • Substantial amount of currency
  • 12.5 kilograms of marihuana
  • 84 marihuana oil syringes
  • 28 grams of psilocybin
  • 7 litres of GHB
  • 137 grams of Ketamine
  • 500 tabs of LSD
  • 684 grams of cocaine
  • 400 grams of MDMA
  • 7 MDMA syringes
  • 3 kilograms of cutting agent
  • A firearm
  • A hydraulic cocaine press and other drug trafficking paraphernalia

As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old male and a 35-year-old male are facing numerous drug trafficking related charges. Both are scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
