Springdale RCMP is warning motorists of a road closure at the intersection of Route 390 and Route 391, The King's Point Junction, due to heavy flooding. King's Point Junction will remain closed until further notice.
Alternative routes are extremely dangerous with heavy flooding in the surrounding area and motorists are asked not to travel via any mode of transportation (example: ATV). The flooding is expected to increase overnight due to heavy rainfall.
Barricades are in place at the intersection of Route 390 and Route 391, as well as other areas along the King's Point Junction (Route 391).
A further update on the road conditions is expected in the morning.
