On July 6, 2021, 25-year-old Landace Blair Urbanovitch, from Selkirk, was charged with Second Degree Murder in relation to the death of the 22-year-old female on July 4, 2021, in the City of Selkirk.
Urbanovitch was remanded into custody for a court appearance scheduled later today in Winnipeg.
On July 4, 2021, at approximately 5:00 A.M., Selkirk RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the City of Selkirk. Upon arrival, a 22-year-old female was located deceased.
The matter is being investigated as a homicide.
