Saskatchewan RCMP Crime Reduction Team: two charged after search warrant executed

On October 5, 2021, Saskatchewan RCMP's Saskatoon Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant at a rural property in Corman Park, SK in relation to an ongoing investigation.

Officers searched the residence, yard and outbuildings. Two Seadoos with trailers and one camper trailer, all reported as stolen, were recovered. Officers also located and seized six firearms and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result, two individuals have been arrested and charged.

Victor Bairos of Corman Park, SK, is charged with:

  • 1 count, possession of methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • 1 count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 355(a), Criminal Code
  • 3 counts, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, Section 355(b), Criminal Code
  • 6 counts, possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code
  • 6 counts, unsafe storage of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code
  • 1 count, fail to comply with release order, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code

Bairos has been remanded to appear in court in Saskatoon on October 7, 2021.

Jessica Lockman is charged with:

  • 1 count, possession of methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Lockman will appear in court in Saskatoon on December 21, 2021.

Saskatchewan RCMP's Emergency Response Team, Prince Albert and North Battleford Crime Reduction Teams and Warman Detachment, as well as the Corman Park Police Service and Saskatoon Police Service's Air Support Unit and Crime Reduction Team assisted in the investigation.
