RCMP traffic stop leads to large seizure of drugs

On January 16, 2021, at approximately 12:40 pm, the RCMP Roving Traffic Unit conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Highway 1, in the RM of Cartier.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately three kilograms of methamphetamine, one kilogram of suspected fentanyl and 140 grams of cocaine, which were destined for Winnipeg.

The driver and sole occupant, a 21-year-old male from Regina was arrested.

Sudhanshu Arora has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Possession of a Controlled Substance x3 and Driving without a Licence under the Highway Traffic Act. He was remanded into custody.

RCMP continue to investigate.
