RCMP seeking public’s help following theft from construction site

The West Prince RCMP is seeking the public's help following a theft from a construction site in Mill River, PEI.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m., on July 9, 2021, and 12:30 p.m., on July 10 at the Mill River Resort on Mill River Road. Some of the items stolen include a dump trailer, a 33-inch (84 centimetres) Napoleon fireplace and several Milwaukee power tools.

The dump trailer is described as a black 2018 Warman dump trailer with PEI license plate number 6T461 and vehicle identification number 2W9LS2297JR081499. It measures 12 feet (365 centimetres) long.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity on Mill River Road between the afternoon hours of July 9 and July 10, or who has information about the theft or current whereabouts of the stolen items, to contact the West Prince RCMP at 902-853-9300. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
