RCMP seeking public’s help following arson

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help following an arson of a vacant house in Moncton, N.B.

On July 29, 2021, shortly before 3 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1400 block of Shediac Road. The structure was an unoccupied home and was destroyed by the fire. The fire was deemed to be an arson by the New Brunswick Fire Marshal.

Anyone with information about this fire or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the early morning hours of July 29, 2021, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
