RCMP responds to thefts from motor vehicles in Musquodoboit Harbour

Halifax District RCMP is investigating several thefts from motor vehicles that occurred in the overnight of July 27 to July 28.

During the overnight hours, more then 10 vehicles were rummaged through and items taken, including wallets, phones, GPS, flashlights, sunglasses and loose change. The incidents occurred on Clamshells Rd., Little River Dr., Park Rd., Hwy. 7, and Hwy. 357.

A vehicle parked at a business on Hwy. 7 was also stolen in the overnight of July 27 and July 28 but later recovered on a trail near Mines Rd. The vehicle is described as a grey 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

Halifax District RCMP is asking that anyone who may have seen the vehicle or unusual activity on those dates or anyone with information on these incidents to contact Musqudoboit Harbour RCMP at 902-889-3300.
