On Friday afternoon, May 14th, shortly after 3:30 pm, Queens District RCMP responded to a collision in Bonshaw between a school bus and a dump truck.
The school bus was travelling west on Route 1 and the dump truck was turning onto Route 1 from the Green Road and collided with the bus causing minor damage to both vehicles.
The schools bus was transporting children ages 7-9 at the time but there were no injuries as a result of the collision. Island EMS attended the scene as a precaution.
The incident remains under investigation.
