RCMP responds to fatal collision

Annapolis District RCMP is investigating after a fatal collision on Highway 201 in Paradise.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. this afternoon, police were notified of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 201. Police, Fire and EHS attended the scene and located a motorcycle that left the roadway. The driver of the motorcycle, a 68-year-old man from Wilmont, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A collision reconstructionist is on scene, the investigation is ongoing.

One lane of Highway 201 is expected to be closed for a number of hours, expect delays, please avoid the area if possible.

Our thoughts are with the victim's family at this difficult time.
