RCMP respond to Co-op fire in Igloolik

January 20th, 2020, Igloolik, Nunavut… Igloolik RCMP respond to fire at the Co-op. At approximately 3:45 a.m. this morning, the RCMP along with volunteer fire fighters responded to a report of a fire at the Co-op store in Igloolik.

Nunavut RCMP Fire Investigators are working closely with the Office of the Fire Marshall who determines the cause of fires.

The investigation is still in its early stages and has not been deemed suspicious at this time. More information will be provided once it becomes available.
