Four kilograms of cocaine and other items consistent with drug trafficking seized in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Etobicoke, Ontario, on January 18, 2021.

Two men and one woman have been arrested and four kilograms of cocaine seized following a cocaine trafficking investigation led by RCMP NL Federal Serious & Organized Crime Unit in St. John's, with support from other RCMP Federal Policing Units in Gander and Ontario, the RCMP NL Emergency Response Team and Canadian Postal Inspectors.

On January 18, 2021, search warrants were executed simultaneously in Etobicoke, Ontario, and St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. In Etobicoke, three kilograms of cocaine were seized and a man was arrested. In St. John's, one kilogram of cocaine was seized and a man and woman arrested. A quantity of cash, electronic devices and other items consistent with drug trafficking were also seized.

Charges are expected both in Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario.

RCMP NL Federal Serious and Organized Crime targets criminal activity involving national security, transnational and serious organized crime and cyber crime throughout the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
