Halifax District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Hwy. 107 in Dartmouth.
At 11:25 a.m. yesterday, police were notified of a motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 107. Police, fire and EHS attended the scene and located a collision between a van and an SUV.
The driver of the SUV, a 58-year-old from Westphal, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the van was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Hwy. 107 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
