Halifax District RCMP, supported by the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency, is investigating a fatal house fire that occurred on Ostrea Lake Rd. in Jeddore.
At approximately 6:36 a.m. today, police responded to a possible fatal fire on Ostrea Lake Rd where one person was located deceased in the house. Preliminary investigation has led police to believe that the fire is not suspicious at this time.
Musquodobit Harbour RCMP, Halifax Integrated General Investigative Section, RCMP Forensic Identification Services, the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency are continuing the investigation.
