RCMP investigates serious single vehicle collision

Meteghan RCMP are investigating a serious single vehicle collision that occurred yesterday in Saulnierville.

At 5:16 a.m., Meteghan RCMP responded to the collision on Hwy. 1. A preliminary investigation determined the vehicle had left the road, flipped over and collided with a house and a utility pole. The driver, a 21-year-old male from Hilltown, suffered life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 14-year-old male from Hilltown, suffered serious injuries. Both were transported to hospital by EHS.

The road was closed for several hours as the scene was attended by an RCMP Collision Analyst.

The investigation is ongoing
