RCMP investigate shooting in Pictou

Pictou County District RCMP are investigating a shooting in Pictou that left one man injured.

Today at approximately 12:27 a.m., the RCMP responded to a call of a shooting at a commercial lodging in Pictou. A 32-year-old man incurred non-
life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

It is believed the parties are known to one another. Police have a heavy presence in the community as they continue the investigation.
