RCMP investigate kidnapping

On May 20, 2021, at approximately 5:25 pm, Dauphin and Ste Rose du Lac RCMP responded to a report of a kidnapping that had occurred on Ebb and Flow First Nation.

A 44-year-old female, from Winnipeg, had been held against her will and sexually assaulted over a period of time, at a residence on Ebb and Flow First Nation. She managed to leave the residence and was taken by Emergency Medical Services to hospital.

Blaine Lindsay Malcolm, 54, from Ebb and Flow First Nation was arrested and has been charged with;

Kidnapping
Forcible Confinement
Sexual Assault
Assault
Administer Noxious Substance
Uttering Threats

He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today in Dauphin.

Major Crime Services along with Ste Rose du Lac RCMP, continue to investigate.
