On December 3, 2021, the "V" Division RCMP hosted a Silent Auction event at their employee Christmas dinner. The RCMP Mess committee collected several donations from businesses within Iqaluit for the auction, which raised $8150.
On December 8, 2021, the "V" Division RCMP presented a cheque for the amount of $8150 to the Iqaluit Angel Tree. The Iqaluit Angel Tree is a non-profit organization that provides Christmas gifts to children and their families in Iqaluit for over 20 years.
This event was a tremendous success, and the RCMP could not have done it without our community sponsors. We are proud to know that our combined efforts will greatly assist in providing gifts for children and families in need during this Holiday Season.
