RCMP charge man with drug trafficking

The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit has charged an Upper Lahave man as the result of an investigation into cocaine trafficking in Lunenburg County.

On August 26, at 12:30 p.m., police executed a search warrant at a home in Upper LaHave related to a cocaine trafficking investigation. Police arrested 67-year-old Keith Rhodenizer of Upper Lahave without incident. Police searched the home and seized a quantity of cocaine, cash, stolen property, weapons and an electronic device.

Rhodenizer has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts of Possession of Property obtained by Crime, and one count of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Rhodenizer is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court on October 27, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.

The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit is made up of members from the Lunenburg County RCMP and Bridgwater Police Service.
