RCMP charge man for break and enters in Pictou County

Pictou County District RCMP have charged a man after a series of break and enters in Pictou County.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. yesterday, police arrested a man following an investigation into several break and enters, including one at a business in Marshy Hope during the overnight hours of March 13. The incidents occurred between March 1 and April 28, 2021.

Arthur William Cross, 29, of Hillside, has been charged with the following:

· Break and Enter and Commit S.348(1)(b) CC

· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime S.354(1) CC X 2

· Possession of Break-In Instruments S.351(1) CC

· Failure to Comply with Release Conditions S.145(3) CC X 2

Cross was held in custody overnight and is scheduled to appear in Pictou Provincial Court later today.
