RCMP arrest man for making fake COVID-19 proof of vaccination cards

Barrington RCMP has arrested man for making fake COVID-19 proof of vaccination cards in Barrington.

On November 15, police received a complaint of a suspected fake COVID-19 proof of vaccination cards being made by a 50-year-old Barrington man in Barrington. Police began investigating the incident and on December 10, police executed a search warrant at a home in Barrington and arrested the man without incident. Police seized items related to manufacturing and forging COVID-19 proof of vaccination, along with electronic devices.

The man was released on conditions and will appear in Shelburne Provincial Court at a later date. He will be facing charges of Forgery and Using a Forged Document.
