RCMP arrest man and locate stolen property

The Annapolis County RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) has arrested a man and located stolen property in Torbook Mines.

Between June 20 and 21, the Lawrencetown Education Centre was broken into and a trailer, four canoes, paddles, personal flotation devices and a gas can were stolen. The total estimated value of the theft was $15,500.

On August 25, Annapolis County SCEU executed a search warrant at a home in Torbrook Mines. Police arrested a man at the home without incident. During the search police located the stolen canoes and trailer.

The man has since been released from custody and will appear in Annapolis Royal Provincial Court on November 1, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. The man will be facing one charge for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000.
