Police seize cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, one person arrested

The PEI RCMP has seized drugs and arrested a 36-year-old man as part of an ongoing drug investigation in Marshfield, PEI.

On August 6, 2021, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Marshfield. During the search, police seized quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and crystal methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia. A 36-year-old man from the community was arrested at the scene.

Kyle Clifford Palmer appeared in Charlottetown Provincial Court and was charged with

  • possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
  • possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on August 30.

Members of the Stratford RCMP led the investigation with the assistance of the Queens District RCMP and the Kings District RCMP.

The public plays an important role in helping to reduce, prevent and solve crime, including the trafficking of illegal drugs.
