Police investigate shots fired

The Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section (GIS) of the Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a report of shots fired yesterday in North Preston.

At approximately 4:55 p.m. on April 11, Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of shots fired on Downey Rd. Police located a damaged vehicle, but no injuries were reported. The suspect vehicle departed the scene prior to police arriving. The suspect vehicle is described as a black car.

The investigation is ongoing and being led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
