Iqaluit, NU – November 3, 2021
On November 3, 2021, Iqaluit RCMP responded to a report of a female pedestrian that was hit by a truck near Tammaativvik. The adult female was transported to the Qikiqtani General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Colin Pugh-Doucet, 22, the driver of the truck, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Section 320.14(1)(a), operating while impaired; and
- Section 320.14(2), operation over legal limit.
