On June 26, 2021, at approximately 7:50 pm, Oakbank RCMP received a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Highway 15, located approximately one kilometre east of Dugald, in the Rural Municipality of Springfield.
The investigation has determined that an eastbound motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, which was also travelling eastbound, as it was in the process of turning north onto Spruce Road.
The 34-year-old motorcycle driver, from Selkirk, was pronounced deceased on scene. The 33-year-old female driver, from the RM of Springfield, was not injured.
Oakbank RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
