Norway House RCMP respond to home invasion

Wanted - Brent James Muswagon

On May 28, 2021, at approximately 9:00 am, Norway House RCMP received a report of a home invasion in progress at a residence in the community of Norway House Cree Nation.

Officers immediately attended and arrested three adult males who were located near the residence. While on scene, another call was received indicating that a male required assistance at another residence within the community.

Officers attended the second residence and located a 36-year-old male who was being held against his will. The male was the victim of a serious assault and had sustained severe injuries. The victim was transported to hospital and is currently in critical condition. An adult male suspect was located at this scene and arrested.

Further investigation has determined that both incidents are related.

Aaron Wesley Folster, 27-years-old, has been arrested and charged with:

Forcible Confinement
Aggravated Assault
Break, Enter and Commit Theft

Virgil Robert Mink, 31-years-old, has been arrested and charged with:

Forcible Confinement
Aggravated Assault
Break, Enter and Commit Theft

Mitchell Allen Muswagon, 25-years-old, has been arrested and charged with:

Forcible Confinement
Aggravated Assault
Break, Enter and Commit Theft

27-year-old Johnathan Edward Crane has been arrested and charged with:

Forcible Confinement
Aggravated Assault

All are from Norway House Cree Nation and have been remanded into custody. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday, May 31, 2021.

The following person from Norway House Cree Nation is wanted in relation to this investigation:

28-year-old Brent James Muswagon has been charged with and is currently wanted for the following offences:

Forcible Confinement
Aggravated Assault

Brent Muswagon is 5'2", 132 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be in the Norway House area.
