Norway House RCMP investigate fatal collision

On December 8, 2021, at approximately 8:15 pm, Norway House RCMP responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Provincial Road 373 near Folster Drive, in the community.

The initial investigation has determined that a 64-year-old male from the community was driving south on PR 373 when he collided with a pedestrian who was laying on the roadway. The 17-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the collision.

Norway House RCMP along with the Criminal Collision Investigation Team and a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
