Lower Sackville man charged with sexual assault and sexual interference

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Special Victim Section has charged a 29-year-old man from Lower Sackville with sexual assault, and is reaching out to the community in case there are additional victims.

Andrew Thomas Stones has been charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference. These charges are in relation to incidents that occurred in Lower Sackville between May and September 2015.

Investigators believe there may be additional victims and encourages members of the public to come forward. Anyone who feels they could be a victim or has questions can contact the Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020.

Stones was released from police custody on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on May 26 at 9:30 a.m.
