Leduc RCMP seek public assistance to identify robbery suspect

On Nov. 3, 2021, at approximately 9:04 p.m., Leduc RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery that occurred at the Super Car and RV Wash in Leduc.

Leduc RCMP and the RCMP Police Dog Services attended the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed that a lone male entered the store, approached the clerk, brandished what is believed to be a firearm and demanded money. The clerk was not physically injured.

The suspect male left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Extensive patrols were made by Leduc RCMP with the assistance of the RCMP Police Dog Services, but the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as:

  • 20-30 years of age
  • Approximately 6 feet tall
  • Average build
  • Wearing black clothing, gloves and a mask
  • Carrying a light blue plastic bag

Leduc RCMP General Investigation Section with the assistance of Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction Unit has taken over carriage of this investigation and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in this case.
