Leduc RCMP Drug Unit charge male for drug trafficking

On June 23, 2021, Leduc RCMP Drug Unit, with the assistance of Leduc RCMP Crime Reduction Unit and Beaumont General Investigation Section, arrested a male in Beaumont following a week long drug trafficking investigation.

The arrest resulted in the seizure of 64 grams of cocaine and 4 grams of heroin.

A 27-year-old male of Edmonton was charged with the following:

  • Trafficking controlled substance - Cocaine
  • Trafficking controlled substance - Heroin
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking - Heroin

He was released from custody to appear in Leduc Provincial Court on Aug. 5, 2021.
