Headingley / Stonewall RCMP investigation leads to recovery of stolen property

On January 20, 2021, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from the Headingley / Stonewall Detachment with assistance from the East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) executed a search warrant at a residence located in the City of Winnipeg. This was in relation to numerous thefts reported in the RM of Headingley area over a short period of time.

The search of the property located numerous stolen items including two motorcycles, a covered utility trailer and various power tools & equipment.

On February 9, 2021, RCMP arrested two individuals in relation to this search warrant.

27-year-old Aaron Lavallee and 27-year-old Jessica Hammond, both from Winnipeg, were remanded into custody on the following charges;

  • Trafficking Stolen Property
  • Possession of Stolen Property
  • Theft
  • Production of Methamphetamine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

Headingley / Stonewall RCMP continue to investigate.
